As a Junior Journalist Intern, you will play a pivotal role in producing compelling and informative content for our digital platforms and magazine. This position offers hands-on experience in education journalism, allowing you to engage with industry professionals and contribute to meaningful discussions in the education sector.
Research & Reporting: Investigate and develop stories related to the education sector, including school rankings, institutional profiles, and current educational trends.
Writing & Editing: Craft clear, engaging, and accurate articles for both digital and print publications. Ensure all content adheres to our editorial standards and guidelines.
Interviews: Conduct interviews with educators, school administrators, and other stakeholders to gather insights and quotes for feature articles.
Event Coverage: Attend educational events, conferences, and seminars to report on new developments and trends in the education sector.
Content Management: Assist in managing and updating content on our website and social media platforms, ensuring timely and relevant information is available to our audience.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior journalists and editors to brainstorm story ideas, refine content, and meet publication deadlines.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Media Communication, or a related field.
Experience: 0–3 years in journalism or content writing, preferably with a focus on education.
Skills: Strong research, writing, and editing skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and familiarity with content management systems.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to conduct interviews and engage with diverse audiences.
